Common questions

How do I use ImageClip from Canva?

Open your design and choose ImageClip Stickers from the Apps panel on the left, then click Trace my design. You can also use Share → ImageClip Stickers. Click Export now, then open the result: your design loads in ImageClip, ready to trace.

It says “this link has expired.”

Designs sent from Canva are kept for 3 hours and then deleted. Just export the page from Canva again to get a fresh link.

Remove Background didn't work well on my design.

Background removal works best when your artwork stands out clearly from its background. Try Draw by hand to outline the area yourself, or use Erase area and Add area to fine-tune the result. Designs exported with a transparent background (a Canva Pro option) skip background removal and trace most accurately.

I've reached today's limit.

ImageClip is free, so there is a daily limit on background removals and on designs sent from Canva. Limits reset each day.

What does the download contain?

A PDF with your artwork and a vector cut line named CutContour on its own layer, the standard format print shops use for die-cut stickers and labels.

Why is my design showing a resolution warning?

ImageClip sizes your sticker from the image's pixels. If the file is small, it may print soft at larger sizes. Exporting from Canva at a larger design size, or using a higher-resolution original, helps.

Can I order stickers from my design?

Yes. Order custom Stickers sends your file to Bottle Your Brand. Ordering is currently available in the US only. It's optional: the download is yours to print anywhere.
